About the Role:
Angel Care Home Companion Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Westhampton, NY. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most, providing personalized care and companionship in a home setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Help clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
- Assist with medication reminders and adherence to care plans
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in a related caregiving role preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and empathy for elderly or disabled individuals
- Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- HHA or CNA certification a plus but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed
