Job description Job Overview Responsibilities Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Monitor patients' health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals. Support clients with mobility assistance, including lifting and transferring as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Respect and uphold resident rights while providing care. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required. Skills Strong knowledge of patient care practices and principles. Experience in home health or long-term care settings is preferred. Familiarity with hospice care protocols is a plus. Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Skills in patient monitoring to identify changes in health status effectively. Understanding of resident rights and commitment to maintaining client dignity.
