    Job Description

    About TruBlue Home Service Ally

TruBlue is a national leader in home maintenance, dedicated to helping seniors age in place safely and helping busy families regain their free time. We aren’t just looking for someone who can fix a leak; we’re looking for a Home Service Ally—someone who brings technical expertise, empathy, and a high standard of integrity to every doorstep.

    What You’ll Do

As a technician, you will be the face of TruBlue, performing a variety of tasks that keep homes safe and functional.

    • General Repairs: Tackle "honey-do" lists including carpentry, drywall patching, painting, misc. interior/exterior and flooring repairs.

    • Safety Upgrades: Install grab bars, ramps, and other accessibility modifications to support seniors.

    • Maintenance: Perform seasonal home tune-ups and basic plumbing/electrical fixes (e.g., changing fixtures, fixing toilets).

    • Customer Connection: Build trust with clients through clear communication, respectful behavior, and "clean-as-you-go" professionalism.

    Who You Are

    • Experienced: 3-5+ years of paid experience in home repairs, remodeling, or a specialized trade.

    • Skilled: Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

    • Reliable: You show up on time, every time, and take pride in doing the job right the first time.

    • Empathetic: You enjoy helping people and can communicate effectively with seniors and their families.

    • Requirements:

      • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
      • Reliable and presentable transportation.
      • Full set of basic tools including drill, impact, saw and other carpentry-related tools.
      • Must pass a background check.
      • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

    Why Join the TruBlue Team?

    • Consistency: Stable, year-round work with a predictable schedule (no chasing leads).
    • Support: A dedicated office team to handle scheduling, billing, and logistics so you can focus on the craft.
    • Culture: A professional environment where your skills are respected and your impact is seen every day.
    • Opportunity for Advancement: We are rapidly growing and poised to expand to multiple markets in Central and South Missouri. Proven performers with a good attitude are always preferred for leadership positions.
    • Benefits:
      • Health plan offered via Big Tree Medical.
      • Paid Time Off
      • Mileage Reimbursement for use of personal vehicle
