Carpenter / General Trades Technician

Premier Systems Heating & Cooling is looking for a skilled Carpenter / General Trades Technician to join our team full-time.

This is a long-term position with benefits for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in quality craftsmanship. You'll work alongside both Premier Systems and our sister company, Rhino Built Construction, on everything from residential remodels and finish work to HVAC-related carpentry and general construction projects.

We're looking for someone who knows a little bit about a lot of things. If you've framed walls, hung sheetrock, installed trim, repaired siding, painted, completed punch lists, remodeled homes, and aren't afraid to tackle something new, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

• Hang, patch, finish, and texture drywall

• Install trim, doors, baseboard, casing, and other finish carpentry

• Framing and light structural carpentry

• Siding repairs and exterior finish work

• Interior painting and finish work

• Kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole-home remodeling projects

• Punch list completion and warranty work

• Support HVAC installations with framing, drywall, trim, siding, and finish carpentry

• General construction projects wherever an extra set of skilled hands is needed

Current Projects

Your first few weeks will primarily be spent working with Rhino Built Construction on remodeling projects at Georgetown Lake, so weekday travel will be expected during this initial phase.

After that, the majority of your work will be throughout the Gallatin Valley, supporting both Rhino Built Construction and Premier Systems on a variety of residential remodeling and construction projects.

The Right Person

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in residential construction or remodeling

• Is comfortable with drywall, framing, siding, trim carpentry, painting, and general construction

• Can read plans, use common construction tools, and work with minimal supervision

• Takes pride in doing quality work the first time

• Is dependable, motivated, and easy to work with

• Owns their own hand tools

• Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Enjoys solving problems and figuring things out

Compensation

$30-$40+ per hour, depending on experience.
