Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to support our high-end residential staging operations. This role is responsible for building, modifying, repairing, and installing custom furniture, millwork, and staging elements that align with our luxury design standards.

The ideal candidate has strong craftsmanship, a keen eye for design, and the ability to execute quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Custom Fabrication & Build

    • Construct custom furniture pieces, built-ins, wall panels, shelving, and staging elements

    • Modify existing inventory to meet specific design visions or space requirements

    • Execute specialty builds for high-end residential projects (e.g., feature walls, banquettes, headboards)

    Repairs & Maintenance

    • Repair and restore staging inventory, including furniture, cabinetry, and wood finishes

    • Ensure all items meet quality standards before installation

    • Perform touch-ups and refinishing as needed

    Installation & On-Site Work

    • Assist with on-site installations for staging projects (art walls, shelving, custom pieces)

    • Safely use tools and equipment in client homes while maintaining a clean, professional environment

    • Troubleshoot and problem-solve during installs

    Collaboration with Design Team

    • Work closely with designers and project managers to interpret design concepts and technical drawings

    • Provide input on feasibility, materials, and construction methods

    • Ensure finished products align with the intended aesthetic and luxury standards

    Warehouse Support

    • Maintain organization of tools, materials, and carpentry workspace

    • Track materials and communicate supply needs

    • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Required Skills:
  • Candidates with 3-5 years cabinet making/millwork experience is required
  • Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, high growth environment
$20 - $30 an hour
Hourly range will vary depending on candidate's experience
