$52,000 - $66,000 per year + overtime potential
($25.00 - $32.00 per hour)

We’re looking for a dependable, skilled Carpenter who can work independently, communicate professionally, and take ownership of assigned work. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in changing environments, solving problems in the field, and representing our company well with customers and team members.


What You’ll Do
As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for completing residential and commercial repair jobs assigned by the Project Managers in the reconstruction department. You’ll work from punch lists and work orders, communicate job progress, and help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company and industry standards.

The job

• Fixing or building framework for walls, floors, doorframes, and roofs damaged by disasters.
• Installing trim, baseboards, molding, fixtures, and doors to finish the space.
• Measuring, cutting, hanging, and repairing drywall and other building materials
• Safely tearing down and removing structures ruined by fire, water, storms, or mold.
• Assisting with urgent property securing, such as boarding up broken windows or tarping damaged roofs.
• Following punch lists, work orders, and strict building codes to complete jobs on time and on budget.
• Measuring spaces and calculating exactly how much material is needed to minimize waste.
• Maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites, tools, and company vehicles.
• Keeping project managers, estimators, and coordinators in the loop regarding job progress.
• Accurately logging work hours and assigning them to the specific job codes.

What you bring

• Expertise in framing, structural work, and drywall installation.
• Strong background in trim carpentry, finish work, and high-attention detail repairs
• Safe, competent operation of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery.
• Ability to accurately read punch lists, follow complex work orders, and independently execute repairs.
• Strong basic math skills used for material take-offs, precise measurements, and cost estimates.
• Adaptive problem-solving skills to navigate unexpected issues in hazardous or damaged environments.
• Professional verbal communication skills for face-to-face client interactions and phone calls.
• Equal comfort working independently without direct supervision or collaborating in a team setting.
• Everyday comfort using an iPhone or iPad to learn and navigate proprietary software like the RMS platform.
• A clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and the ability to safely drive company trucks or vans.
• Ability to pass and maintain an acceptable criminal background check.

Required Experience

•  High School Diploma or GED required 
•  5+ years of experience in the construction, repair, or restoration industry as a Tradesman or Carpenter 

Preferred Experience

•  7+ years of experience in finish carpentry 

Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role that requires working in a variety of job site conditions. Candidates must be able to:

•  Remain in a stationary position up to 25% of the time while in a vehicle
•  Move throughout stairs, walkways, roofs, crawl spaces, and other work areas 
•  Occasionally ascend and descend ladders to complete jobs 
•  Frequently lift up to 60 lbs.
