Carpenter

This role supports a large-scale high-rise residential construction project in West Palm Beach, FL. You will perform a wide range of rough and finish carpentry tasks while consistently maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety on an active construction site.

• Build, install, and repair wood and metal framing systems for a high-rise residential construction project.
• Perform both rough and finish carpentry, including framing, sheathing, trim, and related components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout specifications to complete work accurately.
• Construct and install formwork, temporary structures, and concrete forms as required by the project.
• Install doors, hardware, blocking, backing, and miscellaneous finish carpentry components.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Install wall systems, sheathing, trim, and other carpentry-related building components according to project specifications.
• Maintain proper layout and alignment to ensure all work meets design and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other trades, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC teams, to support project schedules and deadlines.
• Install and work with related construction elements such as PVC, piping, conduit, roofing, drywall, and general construction materials as needed.
• Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements and best practices at all times.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the workday.
• Support general labor and installation tasks on site to help keep the project on schedule.

• At least 3 years of commercial or multi-family construction carpentry experience.
• Experience with rough and finish carpentry, including framing, sheathing, and trim installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Experience working on mid-rise or high-rise construction projects (preferred).
• Ability to build, install, and repair wood and metal framing systems.
• Ability to construct and install formwork, temporary structures, and concrete forms.
• Ability to install doors, hardware, blocking, backing, and finish carpentry components.
• Ability to measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials accurately.
• Capability to install wall systems, sheathing, trim, and other carpentry-related components.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding construction environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.

• OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.
• Experience on large-scale commercial or multi-family construction projects.
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, piping, HVAC, conduit, and roofing work in a construction setting.
• Experience working with PVC and other common construction materials.
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to site-specific safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively alongside other trades to meet project timelines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on an active construction site.

This position is based on an active construction site in West Palm Beach, FL, working primarily outdoors and in the elements. You will work on a high-rise residential building, moving between different areas of the structure as the project progresses. The role is physically demanding and involves frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and working at various heights. You will use a range of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment while coordinating with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and cleanliness on site throughout each workday.

This is a Contract position based out of West Palm Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
