Carpentry Apprentice

Carpentry Apprentice needed for our residential construction client in Catonsville. The Carpentry Apprentice will be working side by side with our lead carpenters, learning the tricks of the trade and helping with all kinds of construction and repair job. Direct hire position. The non-negotiable salary range is between $37,400-$43,400.


Essential Duties:

• Bring hand tools to work daily.
  
• Set up and tear down work stations daily.
  
• Maintain an organized and clean job site.
  
• Assist lead in multi-trade jobs.
  
• Measure and cut drywall, wood, siding, tile accurately.
  
• Perform demolition safely and carefully.
  

Qualifications:

• Must have experience with hand tools and some carpentry experience.
  
• Must be able to read and do basic math functions.
• Must have good eye for detail and for your surroundings.
  
• Must be reliable, dependable, professional and trustworthy.
• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Efficient and ability to meet deadlines are required.
  
• Good communication skills are required.
• Must have a valid Driver's License, own vehicle and a valid Driver's License.
  
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday with some overtime.
  
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
  
• Must be able to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Hand tools, drivers license, and car required.
• Willingness to learn new things and adapt new techniques.
