Completion of high school or the equivalent. Six months of experience in protection of property, maintenance of order, enforcement of laws, and related work.

POSITION WILL BE SITTING AND STANDING FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. PREFER BASIC COMPUTER AND TYPING SKILLS AND BE PROFICIENT WITH WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT AND OTHER OFFICE SUITE PROGRAMS. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS POSITION OF TRUST BACKGROUND CHECK.MUST HAVE A VALDID DRIVERS LICENSE. SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH PROPER NOTICE TO INCLUDE, DAYS, NIGHTS, WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS. POSITION MOSTLY ASSIGNED TO FORT CARSON, BUT DUE TO OPERATIONAL NEEDS WITH PROPER NOTICE COULD BE ASSIGNED TO WORK AT OTHER EXCHANGES. Conducts surveillance in AAFES facilities to detect acts of shoplifting, theft, or other illegal/dishonest acts. Advises supervisor of apparent illegal/dishonest acts and attempts to detain suspect(s) until appropriate law enforcement arrives. Prepares reports.

May assist in conducting loss prevention, OSHA, and environmental compliance inspections and completions of reports.

Provides assistance in customer and associate injury accident investigations, report preparation, and corrective action.

May train associates in anti-robbery, hazmat, and bomb threat procedures.

May be required to manage or assist in managing the Exchange information and personnel security program.

Performs other duties as assigned.
