CAS Associate (Client Accounting Services)

**CAS Associate (Client Accounting Services)** | Jackson, TN (In-office or hybrid)

A well-respected regional CPA firm is adding a CAS Associate in Jackson. You'll own day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of small and mid-sized business clients, from the books to the financials. In-office or hybrid, with summer Fridays off.

**What you'll do**

- Run full-cycle bookkeeping: AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger reconciliations

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients

- Process payroll accurately, including withholdings and deductions

- Help apply accounting policies and procedures that keep clients compliant

- Answer client questions and resolve issues quickly

- Contribute ideas to improve team processes

**What you bring**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting

- QuickBooks and Excel proficiency

- Solid working knowledge of GAAP

- Strong organization and attention to detail; able to juggle multiple clients and deadlines

- 1-3 years of CAS, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred

**Pay range:** $40,000 - $55,000 per year
