    Job Description

Prominent Plaintiffs' complex class actions firm is seeking an experienced securities litigator to join the Firm’s case investigation team. This role is designed for attorneys with at least five years of securities litigation experience who are interested in playing a meaningful role in identifying and developing new matters at an early stage.

In this position, you will work closely with our portfolio monitoring, data analytics, and litigation teams to evaluate potential claims on behalf of institutional investors. You will analyze market events, corporate disclosures, and financial data, and assess whether issuers have made materially misleading statements or omissions.

    Your work will include:

    • Reviewing earnings announcements, SEC filings, and analyst reports
    • Analyzing stock price movements following corrective disclosures
    • Developing preliminary loss causation and damages assessments
    • Identifying and refining potential class periods

You will be expected to exercise independent judgment in distinguishing between routine market activity and actionable misconduct, and to help determine which matters warrant further investigation and potential filing.

A key aspect of this role is the ability—and willingness—to incorporate technology and data-driven tools into your work. This includes using AI and other advanced systems to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and enhance the rigor and efficiency of case evaluation. We are particularly interested in attorneys who bring an innovative and creative approach to identifying claims, improving workflows, and refining how cases are sourced and developed.

    You will also:

    • Conduct targeted factual and legal research, including reviewing comparable enforcement actions and prior litigation
    • Work with financial experts, investigators, and data specialists to evaluate liability theories
    • Prepare internal memoranda, loss analyses, and client-facing summaries for institutional investors
    • Contribute to team strategy and support the development of junior attorneys

This role is well-suited for attorneys who enjoy analytical work, early-stage case development, and thinking strategically about how new matters are identified and pursued.

The firm is looking for candidates who combine strong litigation experience with intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Attorneys who are adaptable, collaborative, and interested in leveraging new tools and approaches will be particularly well-positioned to succeed in this role.
