Cash Application Specialist

What We NeedCorpay is currently looking to hire a Cash Application Specialist within our ALE Solutions division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business. This role is Hybrid, and is located in St. Charles, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for reducing and maintaining acceptable levels of outstanding balances on Accounts Receivable. You will be recording client payments and ensuring that payments are accurate. You will report directly to the A/R Manager and regularly collaborate with accounting staffHow We WorkAs a Cash Application Specialist, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:

Processing Lockbox and electronic payments received from carriers and settling the payments against invoicesProcessing physical check payments received from carriers, vendors, and policyholders against invoicing and general ledger accountsProcessing credit card transactions and sending invoice requests to appropriate Billing teams for postingIdentifying and resolving payment discrepanciesReviewing weekly and monthly aging discrepanciesAssisting client-facing staff with researching payment inquiries, adjustments, and discrepanciesSupporting disputed credit card paymentsAssisting and backing up other depositsPerforming other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

1-3 years of data entry, high volume call center experiencePrior Accounts Receivable or payment processing experience preferredCollege degree preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office products, with specific proficiency in Outlook and ExcelD365 experience a plusACT database experience a plusHigh Radius, One Inc and/or Orbital experience a plusStrong attention to detail and accuracy, role involves a high volume of time sensitive data entry and correctionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to meet vital deadlines, stay organized, solve problems, multi-task, and work effectively in a teamAbility to concentrate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Pay TransparencyThe expected hourly range for this position is $20- $22, based on the candidate's work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.
