SA Recycling offers:\n\n Competitive Pay\n Eligible for Safety and Performance Bonuses\n Comprehensive benefits including affordable medical options, dental and vision care\n 401k with a Company Match\n Weekly Pay\n Referral Incentives\n Company provided uniforms and PPE\n \nResponsibilities of a Cashier:\n\n Complete all required records and documentation for payment of purchased scrap metal into the proper systems.\n Calculate daily transactions using computerized programs and balance cash drawer at the end of the day.\n Generate invoices, itemize lists and tickets noting materials and amounts due, verify weights, prices, and extensions.\n Assist current and potential customers with questions regarding the pricing of materials, the types of materials accepted, and maintenance of customer accounts.\n Provide relief and/or backup duties for the Office Assistant and Weighmaster.\n Assists with monthly closing reporting, and with inventory reconciliation as needed.\n \nQualifications for the Cashier\n\n High School diploma or GED.\n Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service and the ability to handle multiple projects.\n Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills.\n Mathematical and problem-solving skills.\n Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn industry specific software.\n* Bilingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus.\n \nPLEASE NOTE: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
