About the Role:
Pareja's Ace Hardware in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team! You'll be the face of our store, delivering a warm and helpful experience to every customer who walks through our doors. Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system
• Greet customers warmly and provide a positive checkout experience
• Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with accuracy
• Assist customers with locating products and answering basic store inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Support team members with stocking, returns, and store upkeep as needed

Requirements:

• Previous cashier or retail customer service experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
