Main Functions

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner at all times
• Operate cash register and credit card terminals
• Accurately process all transactions and account for all monies
• Check in vendors
• Learn, maintain, and operate all processes associated with the position including paperwork
• Run fuel dispensers and dispense propane
• Acting Supervisor on duty when Lead Attendant is not on site
• Light janitorial duties including restrooms, fountain area, cashier area
• Make sure AM/PM lists are completed daily
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Functions

• Maintain a team environment and work well with other employees and departments
• Maintain a high level of customer service and welcoming atmosphere
• Other duties as needed to help maintain a clean and professional environment

Requirements/Expectations

• Responsible to report to work at the scheduled time
• Be a team member who can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner
• Will be conscientious about assignments
• Accurately handle money
• Strong attention to detail
• Process paperwork neatly
• Will do simple math such as counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions

• Will stand and walk for duration of shift
• Regularly maneuver up to 20 pounds
• Exposure to variable temperatures (indoor, outdoor, walk-in cooler)
• Work with cleaning solvents and chemicals and potential allergens
• Daily exposure to gasoline and oil products
