CAT Scan Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a CAT Scan Technologist to join the diagnostic imaging team at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. This opportunity is ideal for an imaging professional with a solid radiologic technology foundation who is ready to apply or further develop their expertise in CT imaging.

The CAT Scan Technologist will perform diagnostic CT examinations while maintaining high standards for image quality, patient safety, and compassionate care. With cross-training available for this modality, this position may also provide an excellent opportunity for an appropriately credentialed imaging professional looking to expand their capabilities into CT.

Required Qualifications

• Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's Degree (2 years of college)
• Knowledge of a specialized imaging field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
• ARRT Registered
• Current Maryland Certified Medical Radiation Technologist credential
• Advanced-Level CT Certification
• Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures and patient safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous CT/CAT Scan imaging experience
• Experience working within a hospital or acute-care imaging environment
• Strong patient positioning and image-quality skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other clinical professionals
• Interest in expanding imaging capabilities through available cross-training

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an ARRT-registered imaging professional with Maryland certification and approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience. Candidates should bring strong technical fundamentals, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to diagnostic imaging.

With cross-training available for the modality, this opportunity may also appeal to qualified imaging professionals seeking to strengthen their CT expertise while continuing to develop within a hospital imaging environment.

Compensation

$73,000 – $109,000 annually

Qualified candidates may also be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
