LOCATION: REMOTE ELIGIBLE / BAKERSFIELD, CA (ON-SITE)

This role will serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional leadership, leveraging market, retailer, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive data-informed business decisions. What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Sales Analytics, Consumer Insights, or a related function, preferably within fresh produce, CPG, or food retail.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets and develop actionable business recommendations.
- Experience working with syndicated retail and panel data platforms such as Circana, NielsenIQ, or similar sources.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for a variety of audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and work effectively across functions.
- Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance and DMV requirements.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
What will set you apart:
- Experience working directly with major U.S. grocery, mass, or club retailers.
- Experience developing Joint Business Plans, category reviews, and retailer-specific growth strategies.
- Understanding of fresh produce category dynamics, including seasonality, pricing, promotions, and consumer purchasing behavior.
Benefits
Starting Wage: $80,000 - $110,000 / Yearly
Filling Deadline: October 21st, 2026 (Internal Candidates)
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
