Job Summary:

The Catering & Offsite Events Coordinator plays a huge role in ensuring all aspects of our Catering program are followed to ensure a great guest experience that our business heavily relies on. Executing, maintaining, and growing our Catering program is the main function of this position and requires excellent people skills and relationship building; along with excellent time management, organization, planning, and communication. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and assembling catering orders in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, care, timeliness, and according to the instructions/needs of the customer(s).
• Verify and check all delivery/offsite orders before departure to ensure and accuracy and completeness
• Ensure all catering items meet Chick-fil-A’s quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure Catering orders are delivered and/or ready by the requested/required time(s)
• Load, transport, and deliver catering orders.
• Set up catering displays at delivery locations when needed.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with team members and leadership to ensure timely execution..
• Input and process Catering/Offsite orders to include payment collection.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering supplies and work areas.
• Provide professional and friendly service during deliveries and guest interactions and serve as a Brand Ambassador in these situations..
• Effectively communicate needed labor, food, paper, and other resources needed for each event
• Support Front of House and Back of House departments in daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution and knowledge of catering menu items, preparation requirements, recipes, and serviceware
• This Role is likely to require time and shifts working in other positions in the Front of House. Training will be provided onsite.

Qualifications

Required

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Must be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Excellent time management skills
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must complete Background/Motor vehicle check prior to and as a condition of employment

Availability Requirements:

• You must be fully available (Monday-Saturday) to be considered for this position..
• Weekend availability required. Fridays and Saturdays
• Must be able to work shifts beginning as early as 5:30 AM
• Must be able to work shifts up to 11 hours in length
• This is a Full Time position

Preferred

• At least one year of recent Chick-fil-A leadership experience
• Experience executing and growing catering sales.
• Experience executing and preparing off-site catering events, etc.
• High volume restaurant and/or Quick Service Restaurant experience in a similar role and/or in a leadership position

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• This position requires work on site and elsewhere based on business needs as it pertains to order delivery and/or product transport.
• Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs without assistance
• Must be able to work extended periods outdoors in weather conditions exceeding 90 degrees
