THE ROLE

Our Catering Packer supports Tatte’s mission to inspire, care for, and nurture life every day by working with a team to carefully pack and prepare catering orders for delivery or pickup.

The Catering Packer is committed to uncompromising quality and craftsmanship in all aspects of their work. This role is responsible for finalizing orders by carefully packing savory and non-savory items, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and consistency with Tatte’s standards. As the final person to prepare orders for our clients, the Catering Packer plays an important role in ensuring every order is complete, properly packaged, and ready on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check that all items prepared by the savory team meet quality and packaging specifications and are clean and free of drips or smudges.

• Package all items according to established packaging, labeling, and cutlery specifications.

• Consolidate all items within each order to ensure they are complete and ready for delivery or pickup.

• Maintain a clean, organized packing station free of food debris and clutter.

• Restock packaging materials and supplies as needed.

• Maintain professional and collaborative working relationships with all Tatte team members.

• Perform all duties safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with team members.

• Ability to understand and follow product quality and packaging standards.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.

Preferred

• Previous experience working in a catering environment.

• Prior experience in a high-volume production facility.

• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Experience working as part of a team.

• Fluency in Spanish and English.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally throughout the day.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Occasional stooping or kneeling.

• Frequent and repetitive wrist movements, including flexing and rotation.

• Ability to accurately count products and verify order quantities.

• Ability to examine and inspect items to ensure quality specifications are met.
