What Youll Do
- Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
- Scrub and circulate interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, and cardiology procedures.
- Support procedures involving adult and geriatric patients.
- Work with procedures involving pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators.
- Participate in a combined IR, cardiology, vascular, and electrophysiology lab environment.
- Respond to scheduled call coverage, including urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.
- Maintain readiness for callback procedures according to department requirements.
What You Need
Required- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- ARRT or RCIS certification
- ACLS certification
- BCLS certification
- Scrub experience
- Circulate experience
- Telemetry experience
- Interventional radiology experience
Preferred- Experience performing EKG lead placement
- ARRT advanced certification
- RCES certification
- RCIS with medication experience
About the Assignment
This assignment is with a leading facility in Salisbury, North Carolina, supporting a combined laboratory focused primarily on interventional radiology, along with cardiology, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures. The schedule is primarily weekday days, with every third weekend and a minimum of seven call days per month. No floating is required.
