Cath Lab Technologist

Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 12-week contract assignment in Conyers, Georgia. The position involves working in a split laboratory, rotating between Cardiac Catheterization, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology procedures. Candidates must be comfortable participating in an on-call rotation and floating within the facility as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procedures across Cardiac Catheterization, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology.

• Rotate between laboratory areas based on operational needs and scope of practice.

• Participate in the on-call schedule, including weekend coverage.

• Provide technical support during procedures while maintaining patient safety and quality standards.

• Follow facility protocols and departmental requirements.

• Complete all onboarding and compliance requirements before the scheduled start date.

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.

• First-Time Travelers: Accepted.

• Local Candidates: Accepted.

• Traveler Candidates: Accepted.

• Ability to rotate across the split lab and float within the facility as required.

• Availability to participate in the on-call schedule.

Schedule and On-Call Requirements

• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

• Work Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts.

• Call: Approximately 9–10 days per month.

• Weekend Coverage: Included in the call schedule.

• Requested Time Off (RTO): Maximum of 7 dates.

Compensation

• Travel Candidates: $2,400–$2,600 per week, based on experience.

• Local Candidates: $60–$65 per hour, based on experience.

Holiday Requirements

Candidates must be available to work major holidays according to the number of holidays occurring during the assignment:

• 1 major holiday: Must work it.

• 2 major holidays: Must work both.

• 3 major holidays: Must work 2.

Recognized major holidays include:

• Memorial Day

• Independence Day

• Labor Day

• Thanksgiving and Black Friday

• Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

• New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
