Position Summary: As a GECX AI Development Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy contact center AI solutions for Google Cloud's Customer Experience (CX) portfolio. The role focuses on developing AI-powered customer engagement solutions and integrating them with leading CCaaS platforms such as Five9 and Genesys Cloud CX. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) and IVA (Intelligent Virtual Agent) solutions.
Develop conversational AI solutions including:
IVR Design
NLU/NLP Modeling
Intent Recognition
Conversation Flow Orchestration
Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech integrations
Design, build, and maintain integrations between Google CCAI/GECX, Five9, and Genesys Cloud CX.
Develop routing strategies, hand-off mechanisms, and API integrations between AI agents and contact center platforms.
Build end-to-end AI solutions supporting:
Voice
Chat
Email
Social Channels
Virtual Agents/Bots
Analytics
Create integrations with CRM, ERP, and third-party systems using REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and modern integration frameworks.
Develop and deploy Agentic AI and GenAI use cases for contact center modernization.
Build multi-agent systems using:
Dialogflow CX
Vertex AI Search
CX Agent Studio
Google ADK
Agent Engine
Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions using enterprise knowledge bases.
Develop API-based tools enabling AI agents to interact with business applications in real time.
Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and API specifications.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Scientists, Engineers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
Required Skills
5+ years of software development experience.
