ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. This list of tasks is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY, and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class). TASKS:Facilitate tech-assisted intervention programs.Analyze student data to inform targeted 1:1 or smaller group interventions.Attend regular professional development and/or collaboration as needed for position.Bi-weekly communication with core instruction teachers and building administration via email regarding student progress.Bi-weekly written or verbal communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and attendance.Create and implement highly engaging and AZ CCRS based curriculumMaintain daily attendance records. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS: Deep understanding of English Language Arts concepts, misconceptions and multiple approaches/models for teaching a concept.Excellent oral communication skillsCommitment to the full tutoring cycleHighly effective classroom management in a 1:1 computing environmentExperience and rapport with high risk student populationsExceptional Interpersonal SkillsExperience with data analysisConsiderable knowledge of technology. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is performed in indoor and outdoor environments. Work requires frequent driving, walking and standing. Work may involve lifting and carrying objects weighing as much as 50 pounds. May be exposed to extreme weather conditions and infectious diseases.
