Dedicated CDL-A Drivers Needed – Home Daily!

Universal Logistics services a wide range of customers, providing transportation solutions for local and regional lanes throughout the Metro-Detroit area, with continued growth into additional markets.

Our fleet of day cabs, sleepers, and 53' dry vans allows us to meet a variety of customer needs while offering drivers steady work and flexible opportunities.

What We Offer:

• Routes throughout Michigan and Indiana with home daily runs
• Monday–Saturday schedules
• Home daily
• Average weekly earnings around $1,600/week
• $0.70 CPM
• 60–70 hours per week
• All shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Secure and handle freight as required
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and customers
• Report any mechanical or safety issues
• Adhere to schedules while practicing safe driving habits

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last year
• Clean driving record with a strong safety history
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Strong communication and time management skills
