After the outbound delivery, available backhaul freight is used to keep the truck productive while working toward the next customer load. The schedule is built around getting drivers home every weekend.Flatbed WorkSmaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets make up the primary outbound freight. Most freight is live loaded and live unloaded, with approximately 75% requiring tarping.The account uses lighter six-foot drop tarps rather than larger traditional flatbed tarps. Tarp compensation is included within the overall account pay program.Equipment Set Up for the AccountAssigned newer-model Kenworth T6802025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailer12 winches with strapsTwo six-foot drop tarpsDrivers remain with the same trailer throughout the trip rather than operating a drop-and-hook trailer system.Pay, Bonus and Getting StartedEarn $2,000 to $2,100 per week with a $5,000 sign-on bonus available to qualified drivers.
