Following delivery, drivers pick up available flatbed backhauls that help position them toward Alabama rather than routinely returning empty. The operating cycle finishes with dependable weekend home time.Built for Experienced Steel HaulersDrivers handle smaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets. Freight is primarily live loaded and live unloaded, and approximately 75% of outbound loads require tarping.Steel-hauling, coil, tarping, and load-securement experience are important parts of this position.Truck and TrailerNewer-model Kenworth T680 tractors are matched with 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailers. Drivers keep the same trailer throughout the trip.12 winches and strapsTwo lightweight six-foot drop tarpsAssigned tractor and trailerNo trailer drop-and-hook operationCompensation and OrientationWeekly earnings are $2,000 to $2,100, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus available to qualified drivers. Tarp compensation is included within the account's overall pay program.Orientation is Monday through Thursday and pays $100 per day.
