HireNow Staffing is recruiting a CDL-A Driving Instructor to help prepare the next generation of professional drivers at a training facility in Valparaiso, Indiana.

This opportunity allows an experienced driver to apply practical knowledge through instruction, backing-skills training, and driver evaluations. Candidates should enjoy explaining techniques clearly, providing constructive feedback, and helping students build safe driving habits.

HireNow Package

• Base Pay: $25.00 per hour.
• Bonus Potential: $1,000 listed, with monthly bonus opportunities noted. The amount, frequency, and eligibility terms require confirmation.
• Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Regular Days Off: Sunday and Monday.
• Additional Scheduling: Occasional weekend work is noted; any expectations beyond the regular Saturday shift will be clarified during screening.
• Home Time: Daily.
• Equipment: Company-provided automatic transmission trucks pulling 53-foot trailers.
• Work Location: Valparaiso training facility.

Role Overview

• Teach students company driving standards and procedures.
• Demonstrate and coach backing skills and trailer maneuvering.
• Conduct driver evaluations and provide clear, practical feedback.
• Help students identify areas for improvement and develop safe, consistent driving habits.
• Support a professional learning environment that encourages questions and accountability.
• Reinforce safe equipment operation throughout training.

Required Qualifications

• Class A CDL.
• At least two years of previous CDL-A driving experience.
• Availability for the Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
• Ability to explain driving techniques clearly and work patiently with students.
• Ability to report to the Valparaiso facility.

Any instructor-specific credentials, driving-record standards, or additional employer requirements will be confirmed during screening.
