Job Overview
EmployBridge is currently hiring CDL Switcher Drivers for a busy distribution facility in South Charlotte. This is a local yard position with no over-the-road driving required. Drivers will be responsible for safely moving trailers throughout the yard and supporting daily logistics operations.

Available Shifts & Pay Rates
1st Shift
- Tuesday through Friday
- 5:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- $20.00/hour
Weekend Night Shift
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- $22.25/hour
Responsibilities
- Operate a yard switcher to move tractor trailers throughout the facility yard.
- Complete up to 120 trailer moves per day.
- Position trailers accurately at designated dock doors and staging areas.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain three points of contact when entering and exiting equipment.
Requirements
- Active CDL License required!!
- Medical DOT Card required!!
- 6 months or more of previous switcher, yard spotter, or CDL driving experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
