Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to transport and deliver packages.
Complete timely and accurate deliveries to residential and commercial customers.
Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while complying with traffic laws and safety standards.
Verify package accuracy and delivery documentation for each stop.
Provide professional customer service during all customer interactions.
Communicate with the dispatch team regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
Immediately report vehicle issues, accidents, or traffic violations to supervisors.
Follow company policies, delivery procedures, and safety protocols.
Represent BBI Delivery Service professionally at all times.Drivers play a critical role in ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining high service standards, and representing the company professionally
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs
Ability to enter and exit a delivery truck frequently throughout the day
Strong time management and route navigation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple delivery tasks
Good communication and customer service skills
Prior experience in:
Delivery driving
Courier services
Logistics or last-mile delivery
Package handling
Familiarity with traffic laws, GPS navigation, and route optimization
Fast-paced delivery environment
Frequent driving, lifting, walking, bending, and climbing in/out of delivery vehicles
Independent work with support from dispatch and operations teams
