TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support Regional operations based in Sergeant Bluff, IA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon-Fri with 2 overnights a week. 12-hour shifts, start time varies
- Pay: $380 per day
- Route Type: Regional
- Freight / Load Type: Hardware items
- Equipment: Day Cabs 28' to 53' tractor-trailer. Manual transmission required
- Handling: Touch freight, an electric pallet jack is provided
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Manual transmission required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the Day Cab on regional routes
- Transport hardware items in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks, including unloading pallets with an electric pallet jack
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
