Drivers based near Tampa run regional dry van freight with no-touch loads and a 12-day schedule that repeats from one cycle to the next. This position is built for drivers who want dependable miles and a home time plan they can rely on instead of adjusting to last-minute dispatch changes or shifting routes week to week.
Freight moves on established regional lanes with a mix of drop-and-hook and live loads. Average hauls are 700–750 miles, allowing drivers to stay productive without frequent short runs. Loads are planned in advance so transitions between trips stay efficient and organized, helping drivers avoid unnecessary downtime.
Drivers follow a 12-day run followed by a guaranteed 48-hour reset every other weekend. The schedule is designed to repeat, making it easier to plan time at home instead of waiting for changing dispatch schedules. This setup gives drivers a routine they can follow each cycle.
Drivers operate Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions. Trucks include APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and mounts for TV and microwave. Equipment is maintained on a regular service schedule to help prevent breakdowns and keep drivers moving throughout the week.
Weekly earnings are based on miles and experience, with reliable freight helping maintain consistent income. Additional pay is available for qualifying detention time. After 6 months, drivers are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
Drivers may take trucks home during resets when safe parking is available or park at approved locations. Support staff assists with routing, maintenance coordination, and load planning throughout each trip to help keep runs organized.
