Overview:Join National DCP, LLC (NDCP) as a Class B Driver delivering products safely and on-time to Dunkin’ franchise stores and production kitchens. This role involves working in varied temperature environments and outdoor conditions. NDCP is a $3 billion supply chain company supporting over 10,000 Dunkin’ locations across the U.S.

1. Safely operates a straight truck that transports product to and from specified destinations. 2. Conduct a proper pre-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.3. Ensures delivery-related paperwork is in order before departing the Distribution Center or transportation hub.4. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of products.5. Unloads frozen, refrigerated, dry and cleaning products into Dunkin’ and Baskin Robins stores and production kitchens via a two-wheeler hand truck and/or pallet jack in a safe manner into store locations.6. Scans all product labels during store deliveries, and report all orders with shorts or damages.7. Maintains proper logs of travel and product according to Federal, State and DOT regulations.8. Maintains contact with Member Services / applicable operations transportation personnel to communicate any delivery problems or delays.9. Ensures the cleanliness and presentation of the interior of the truck cab, as well as the removal of delivery-related trash at the store and production kitchen (i.e., shrink wrap, cardboard, crates and pallets).10. Conducts a proper post-trip inspection to ensure equipment is in good working order to minimize delays the following day.11. Timely reports any vehicle maintenance or malfunction issues to the appropriate Transportation Supervisor.12. Utilizes a high level of customer service in serving as the primary NDCP point of contact between the Distribution Center and the customer.13. Trains and leverages a Delivery Assistant, as applicable, to ensure the accurate, timely and efficient delivery of product to customer, as well as to assist in the safe maneuvering of the truck entering, exiting and parking at delivery locations.
1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
2. 100% touch freight in the Food and Beverage Industry Required3. Current Class B CDL and DOT Medical card required4. Minimum of six (6) months of Class B CDL driving experience. Experience driving in the food industry is highly preferred5. Ability to lift 55 lbs.6. Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) in accordance with NDCP’s hiring requirements7. Operate a manual and automatic transmission truck8. Safely operate a refrigeration unit and a lift gate9. On Board Computer/Electronic Log System experience preferred10. Ability to read a map and/or follow written directions to navigate assigned routes efficiently and safely11. Knowledge of DOT regulations and Commercial Motor Vehicle requirements12. Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional customer service mentality13. Ability to work effectively in an individual and team environment14. Effective decision-making skills and sound judgement15. Ability and willingness to work varying work schedules, as needed, to support NDCP’s operations
Must satisfy all applicable FMCSA driver qualification requirements, including the to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete required ability reports and records.
