Job Title: CDL Driver (Local Deliveries / Material Transport)
A well-established industrial supply and steel company in the Houma area is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in professionalism, reliability, and customer service while working locally and being home daily.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate CDL trucks for local deliveries and pickups
Transport steel, industrial materials, and related products to customer job sites and facilities
Load, secure, and unload materials properly to ensure safe transport
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and receipts
Communicate professionally with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers
Assist with warehouse duties or material handling when needed
Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
Schedule / Pay:
Full-time position
Local routes / Home daily
Monday-Friday (some overtime may be available)
Pay based on experience
