Responsibilities:
Safely operate an 18-wheeler (tractor-trailer) for long-distance hauls across the United States.
Transport goods to various destinations while ensuring on-time delivery.
Inspect the vehicle before and after trips, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service/repair status.
Follow all applicable traffic laws, weight limits, and road safety guidelines.
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues immediately.
Ensure proper handling and securement of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and updates.
Must-Haves:
Valid CDL Class A license with a minimum of 2 years of long-haul driving experience.
Proven experience operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, or other commercial trucks.
Clean driving record with no major violations
Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test
Having a passport is a plus
