Done Right Hood & Fire Safety is a leading fire safety company serving all five boroughs of New York City and the greater tri-state area, and we're known for one thing above all: white-glove service. Our crews provide kitchen exhaust hood cleaning, grease trap service and fire safety work that keeps restaurants and commercial kitchens safe, compliant and open for business.

We're also a genuinely fun place to work. Our team is upbeat, high-energy and close-knit, and we take the work seriously without taking the fun out of it. We're looking for a reliable CDL Driver to keep our crews, tanks and equipment moving safely across the city.

What You'll Do

• Drive safely. Operate company commercial vehicles safely and legally across the five boroughs and the tri-state area.
• Transport equipment, tanks and crews. Get our people, grease trap tanks and service equipment to every job on time.
• Follow assigned routes. Stick to the daily route and schedule, and keep dispatch updated on your progress and any delays.
• Keep vehicles in top shape. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues right away.
• Represent Done Right. Be professional and courteous with customers on site, reflecting the white-glove service we're known for.
• Work as part of the crew. Help with loading and unloading, and support the team so every job runs smoothly.

What We're Looking For

• A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• A clean driving record.
• Experience driving trucks in the five boroughs of New York City.
• A solid understanding of NYC truck routes and commercial vehicle restrictions.
• A flexible schedule, with availability for both day and night shifts.
• Reliability: someone dependable who shows up on time, every time.
• A strong commitment to safety on the road and on the job site.
• A professional, friendly attitude with customers and teammates.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to keep dispatch, crews and customers informed.
• Comfort using our company mobile app to view routes, update job status and communicate with the office.
• Good customer service skills, treating every customer with courtesy and respect.
• Dedication: someone committed to making sure every job gets done, and done right.
