Position Summary


The Commercial Front Load Driver safely operates a front load garbage truck on designated commercial routes throughout the service area. Drivers are responsible for servicing customer containers, conducting vehicle inspections, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


+ Operate a Commercial Front Load truck in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Service commercial waste containers according to route schedules.

+ Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

+ Maintain accurate route and disposal records.

+ Ensure all assigned containers are emptied safely and completely.

+ Follow all DOT, OSHA, company, and local safety regulations.

+ Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.

+ Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately.

+ Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment.

+ Work outdoors in various weather conditions.


Qualifications


+ Valid Class A or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement.

+ Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurability requirements.

+ At least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.

+ Previous waste industry experience is a plus but not required.

+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

+ Strong commitment to safety and customer service.

+ Ability to work in all weather conditions.
