CDL Driver - Flatbed/Step Deck

Pay: $25.00 per Hour

Are you an experienced CDL driver looking for a stable opportunity with competitive pay and the ability to be home most nights? We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver to support oilfield operations throughout the Haynesville Shale region.

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is delivering and picking up casing running equipment using step deck flatbed trailers at drilling rig locations throughout Louisiana and East Texas. Drivers will also support equipment transfers between company facilities as needed.

While drivers are home on a daily basis most of the time, occasional overnight trips requiring a reset away from the home terminal will be necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver and retrieve casing running equipment at drilling rig locations.
• Safely operate step deck flatbed trailers in oilfield environments.
• Transport equipment throughout the Haynesville Shale area, including:
  • Louisiana: Bossier, Caddo, DeSoto, Red River, Sabine, and Webster Parishes
  • East Texas: Panola, Harrison, San Augustine, Angelina, and Smith Counties
• Secure loads and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Complete required inspections, logs, and shipping documentation.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Haul equipment between facilities located in:
  • Broussard, LA
  • Weatherford, OK
  • George West, TX
• Assist with equipment transportation and logistics support as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience.
• Minimum 1 year of flatbed driving experience.
• Experience operating manual transmission (manual shift) trucks.
• Ability to safely secure and transport heavy equipment.
• Must be able to comply with DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.

Schedule

• Drivers are typically home most nights.
• Some overnight trips and resets away from the home terminal will occur.
• Runs are planned during daylight hours whenever possible.
• Due to the 24/7 nature of operations, drivers participate in an on-call rotation and must be available and fit for duty when scheduled and within DOT driving hours.
• Schedule includes every other weekend off.
