CDL Operator

As a CDL Operator, you'll safely transport passengers in shuttle buses, mini buses and motor coaches while following all DOT regulations and delivering outstanding customer service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Operate vehicles in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Transportation of passengers to designated locations safely and on schedule.
• Plan routes using GPS and adjust for traffic, weather, or road conditions.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations to dispatch or supervisors.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B) with Passenger and Airbrake Endorsements.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
• Must have clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Strong ability to work independently with effective time management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel long distances, including overnight stays when required.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and diverse road environments.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

Compensation & Sign‑On Bonus

Eligible chauffeur positions at RMA (Black Car Chauffeurs, Motorcoach Operators, and Shuttle Ambassadors) offer a sign‑on bonus.

• Full‑time positions: $1,200 sign‑on bonus
• Part‑time positions: $600 sign‑on bonus

Bonus eligibility begins after 90 days of continuous employment. Once eligible, bonuses are paid in equal monthly installments through payroll (12 installments for full‑time, 6 installments for part‑time). Employees must be actively employed and in good standing at the time each installment is paid. Any unpaid installments are forfeited upon separation of employment. This program supports retention and does not constitute guaranteed compensation.
