Annual Salary: $54,400–$68,000

Learn the testing side of the concrete business. Build skills you can use for years.
This is a strong next step for someone with experience in concrete, construction, manufacturing, or plant operations. Lab experience is not required.
What you’ll do
- Test cement and related materials to support concrete quality
- Prep, label, and track samples; keep results organized
- Use and check lab equipment; keep tools in good working order
- Maintain clear records and follow safe work practices
- Work closely with the Lab Director and the Technical Services team
What you bring
- High school diploma (required)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Hands-on and able to use tools and equipment safely
- Department of Transportation (DOT) or American Concrete Institute (ACI) certification is a plus, but not required
- Dependable: you show up, follow steps, and ask questions when unsure
- Basic computer skills (entering results, tracking samples, email)
- Construction, concrete, or industrial experience is a plus
- Concrete testing or materials testing experience is a plus (you don’t need it to apply)
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift or carry up to 55 pounds
- Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, climb, and work on uneven ground as needed
