Summary:
Urgent need for CEO in Norfolk, VA for federal housing project. Experience with public housing authorities and HUD required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and implement organizational goals and priorities.
- Oversee agency operations, housing programs, redevelopment initiatives, and administrative functions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations and procurement requirements.
- Lead executive staff and promote operational efficiency, accountability, and ethical governance.
- Serve as the primary representative to residents, community stakeholders, government agencies, and partner organizations.
- Foster community engagement and support initiatives that enhance resident services and neighborhood revitalization.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of senior leadership experience in public housing, redevelopment, or community development organizations.
- Strong knowledge of HUD programs, affordable housing operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical leadership, transparency, and organizational accountability.
