Cerner IT Security Analyst Job Description -
o Experience administering security within Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium environments. Knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC), user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access governance principles.
o Experience managing user accounts, security roles, templates, positions, and organizational security structures within an electronic health record (EHR) system.
o Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and lifecycle management processes.
o Ability to analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve application access and security-related issues.
o Experience supporting system upgrades, testing activities, and implementation projects.
o Experience in project management. Senior level skill set with 3-5 years working with Oracle Cerner EMR. 1-2 years' experience supporting Identity and Access Management.
o Strong customer service background, ability to troubleshot user access issues.
o Configure Cerner security domains, positions, roles, code values, and access templates.
o Support implementation of new Cerner modules and integrated applications.
o Participate in upgrades, testing, and validation of security impacts before production deployment.
o Manage role-based access controls (RBAC), security templates, and security groups. Ensure users have appropriate access based on job responsibilities and the principle of least privilege.
