    Monarch Ford in Exeter, CA is looking for a Ford Certified Diesel Technician with a strong background in diesel diagnostics and repair to join its service team. This is a role for someone with real experience; the minimum is 3 years of fleet or dealership diesel work, and Ford dealership background is strongly preferred.     What You'll Do

    • Perform diesel diagnostics and repairs to Ford factory standards, working from repair orders and documented customer concerns

    • Evaluate critical components and safety systems using manufacturer inspection checklists before and after service

    • Adjust safety devices, protective guards, and fasteners as needed to meet factory specifications

    • Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify quality, safety, and performance

    • Tag and submit warranty parts to the warranty clerk following dealership procedures

    • Record completed work on repair orders accurately, including labor operations and torque specifications

    • Monitor Ford technical service bulletins and attend manufacturer training sessions as assigned

    • Keep the workspace clean and organized, and return customer vehicles in a better condition than they arrived in

    What We're Looking For

    • Ford certification required

    • Minimum 3 years of fleet or dealership diesel repair experience required

    • Prior Ford dealership experience a plus

    • CDL license a plus

    • Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills

    • Ability to read and apply technical manuals, bulletins, and repair procedures

    • Must supply own tools

    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
