A major infrastructure construction project in the DFW metro is adding an experienced Crawler Crane Operator for a large-scale, high-value build. The project involves precast and structural steel lifts requiring precision rigging and consistent boom configuration changes across multiple phases. This is a long-duration assignment with strong hourly compensation, per diem, and the stability of a project-backed schedule. If you run a lattice boom crawler at tonnage (300T+) and hold your NCCCO credentials, this is a direct opportunity to stay working on a flagship project.

  • $100/day per diem × 7 days
  • Anticipate 50-60 hours per week
  • Multi-year project, could last 6+ months

  • Looking at a start date of 10/26/2026 (+/-)

Overview:

  • Operate a large-tonnage lattice boom crawler crane through multiple lift phases
  • Execute precast concrete picks using a luffer configuration; transition to structural steel lifts as the project phases progress
  • Perform pre-shift inspections, maintain crane logs, and coordinate with rigging and signalperson crews
  • Work within established lift plans; flag any field deviations to the superintendent immediately
  • Maintain NCCCO certification and DOT medical card in good standing throughout the assignment

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • NCCCO certification with LBC (Lattice Boom Crawler) and LAT (Lattice Boom Crane — Articulating/Telescoping) endorsements — required
  • DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate — required
  • 10-panel pre-employment drug screen — required
  • OSHA 10 (client can facilitate if not current)
  • Minimum 3–5 years operating lattice boom crawlers at 200+ ton capacity
  • Demonstrated experience with luffer configurations on precast and/or structural steel lifts
  • Ability to read and execute engineered lift plans independently
  • Familiarity with boom assembly, rigging hardware, and load chart calculations
