Your responsibilities will include preparing and monitoring patients for dialysis treatments, ensuring equipment is functioning optimally, and maintaining a sterile environment. You'll engage with patients compassionately, providing support and education throughout their treatment. Your schedule will be full-time, five days a week rotating Saturdays, with Sundays off. You'll have the flexibility of AM and PM shift options, and your shifts can vary between 8, 10, or 12 hours.Overtime opportunities are also available, allowing you to maximize your working hours and experience. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with current CCHT or CHT certification (Bonent or NNCC) and CPR certification. Previous experience in dialysis is required, ideally a minimum of three months, which will help you navigate the demands of the role with confidence.Proficiency in measuring and recording patient vitals, as well as in setting up, tearing down, and monitoring hemodialysis machines, is essential. Familiarity with EMR documentation systems, such as Clarity, will facilitate accurate patient records. A solid understanding of OSHA guidelines, infection control, and proper use of PPE ensures a safe working environment.Additionally, strong patient education and communication skills are vital for building trust and rapport with patients.
