Pay Range

$16-$18 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Manage traffic flow at construction sites and during lane closures.
• Place and remove signs, cones, and barriers to direct traffic.
• Communicate with construction personnel and drivers about traffic patterns and detours.
• Observe and report any hazardous conditions or incidents on the work site.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to traffic control.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Flagger from a recognized program (e.g., American Traffic Safety Services Association - ATSSA).
• Experience working with highway and road construction projects.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical fitness and flexibility to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and react quickly to emergencies.
• Effective communication skills.
