Our CHHAs provide one-on-one care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.If you are caring, reliable, and passionate about helping others, we would love to hear from you.What You'll DoAs a CHHA, your responsibilities may include:Assisting clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toiletingPreparing meals and assisting with feeding as neededPerforming light housekeeping and laundryProviding companionship and engaging in conversationAssisting with ambulation, mobility, and transfersProviding medication remindersSupporting clients with activities of daily livingProviding compassionate care in accordance with each client's plan of careRequirementsActive New Jersey CHHA certification - requiredCurrent CPR certification - requiredReliable transportation - requiredPhysical examination completed within the past 12 monthsTB clearance documentation completed within the past 12 months, such as a PPD/TB skin test or QuantiFERON (QFT) blood test. Chest X-ray documentation may be accepted, as applicable, in accordance with agency requirements.Ability to travel to clients' homes as assignedPrevious caregiving or home care experience is a plusPlease note that some client locations are not accessible by public transportation.
