    Description

    The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading healthcare provider in Hamilton, TX to hire a Certified Medical Assistant to join a patient-focused team and play a key role in delivering exceptional care in a supportive clinical environment.

    In this role, you'll support clinical procedures, maintain medical records, coordinate patient-provider communication, and help ensure high-quality patient care.

    Schedule: Full-Time | Mon-Fri | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    What You’ll Do

    • Record patient observations, responses & provider orders in patient medical records
    • Coordinate communication between patients, families, and providers
    • Escort patients and prepare them for exams by obtaining vitals, weight, height, and health history
    • Assist with surgical procedures, administer medications, and perform blood and urine testing
    • Process prescription refill requests and support safe, efficient patient care operations
    • Stock & maintain clean, organized exam rooms; monitor inventory levels & conduct monthly stock checks
    • Maintain medical supply, equipment, and sample inventory; dispose of expired products appropriately
    • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; follow organizational, infection control, and safety protocols
    • Collaborate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
    • Perform additional duties as assigned with efficiency and accuracy

    What We Are Looking For

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Medical Assistant Certification required
    • CPR Certification required
    • Previous medical assistant experience preferred
    • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods & lift up to 40 lbs
    • Strong communication, organizational skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
