Certified Medical Assistant - Northbrook, IL

Currently we are searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract role with an exceptional occupational healthcare organization based out of Northbrook, IL.

 

·      Start date: ASAP

·      Contract length: 14 weeks

·      Schedule: DAYS - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm / Wednesday 9 am to 6 pm (closed from 1 pm to 2 pm daily for lunch)

·      Pay rate range: $24 - $27 an hour

·      Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / Weekly Pay




Job Description:

·      We are a busy clinic with primary care, physical therapy, chiropractic, and behavioral health. 30-50 patients are seen daily. 

·      Will be assisting with front desk / scheduling / answering phones as needed.

·      Perform POC testing, venipuncture, and routine vaccinations- including flu.

·      Document in EPIC EMR.




Requirements:

·      3 years of CMA experience in a primary care or clinic environment required.

·      Must be comfortable with front desk duties, answering the phones and scheduling appointments. 

·      Must have strong phlebotomy and customer service skills.

·      Must have experience with POC testing and performing vaccinations.

·      Must have experience with Epic EMR.

·      CMA certification and BLS certification is required.
