Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support to patients and healthcare providers in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant.

• Previous professional Medical Assistant experience required.

• Strong orthopedic rehabilitation experience preferred.

• Comfortable working in a high-volume outpatient environment.

• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms, supplies, instruments, and equipment.

• Prepare and position patients for physician visits, examinations, and procedures.

• Obtain and document accurate patient vital signs and clinical information.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot medical equipment safely.

• Perform EKGs, PFTs, Audiometry, and Titmus testing as trained and authorized.

• Perform UDS, BAT, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and laboratory testing as required.

• Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and clinical documentation.

• Assist with billing, collections, and clerical office procedures as needed.

• Use computerized systems for patient documentation, scheduling, records, and administrative functions.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational privacy policies.

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered care based on individual patient need
