Baptist Health is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join Baptist Primary Care, Internal and Family Medicine at our Southbank Plaza office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday. Shift varies but ranges from 7:00AM-5:00PM.

The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider.

Certified Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physicians

• Obtains vital signs

• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit

• Maintains medical documentation

• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician

• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years Patient Care Experience

• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required

• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• Certified Medical Assistant Required
